Since we didn't catch you again before heading back to my folks' place for the party, I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay with you. It was wonderful to find such a nice place in the quiet little town of Rumsey, who would've thought? The room was lovely and so clean, breakfast was delicious, your hospitality is simply unmatched and we couldn't have asked for more. Rumsey House is quite the gem! You can be sure we'll recommend it to all our friends and family. Thanks again and I hope we get the chance to stay again someday.
Best regards, FR
Dear Camilla, Just a brief note to say how much I enjoyed the Rumsey House and meeting you over delicious breakfasts two days in a row.
The overriding feeling was one of generosity - the size of the rooms, the precious rugs all over the place, the outdoors, the meals, your trust in your guests. It is obvious that you have a big heart even if it is hurting for now. If you ever find yourself in the Tucson area please get in touch! I'd love to continue our conversations.

They (musicians for their venue) were so happy! We will send all our lodging requests to you.

We came up to the Rumsey House in May 2013 for my best friends bachelor party. I booked it on short notice and we headed out. Camilla was very considerate and a great host. Her breakfast were home made and hit the spot. There are plenty of places up and down the main road for going swimming on the river. Maybe a 15 min walk at most. All in all it was a great experience and we look forward to going again soon.

Sincerely wonderful time at Rumsey House. Camilla the owner took considerable time and effort to ensure our trip was excellent on every level. Home made everything for breakfast - from nuts, figs, eggs, fruits, and much much more. She kindly lent us a kayak and life vests, then if that was not enough drove to a local spot to direct us there. The area is excellent for adults and kids alike, we enjoyed kayaking, tubing the rapids (5 minute drive) and swimming in Clearlake (40 minute drive). We used the upstairs room which was impeccably clean, bright, spacious, dead quiet and comfortable.

Rustic atmosphere with a friendly (and interesting!) staff. Like staying at your own home with cookies, drinks, and home- grown fruit available at all times. Bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was made from freshly gathered eggs and vegetables. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Camilla was accommodating to our needs; adding in a extra person and being flexible. She keeps to a healthy lifestyle which was a perfect match for us. We arrived early and were warmly greeted by David, her husband and were given the opportunity to leave our belongings 3 hours before check-in. Needless to say, they are very hospitable. Camilla's use of her natural ingredients from the garden is so very charming and my daughter loved the 'fort".

Inspiring b&b. Camilla and David most attentive, and well-informed. A good stock of books about the region, and its history. Excellent, creative breakfast. All this in a lovely valley easily accessible from the main freeways. What a find!

The owners are really quite incredible. We really enjoyed talking with them and also appreciated the space and atmosphere they created for our personal time to hang out together. BEAUTIFUL craftsman home - really looks like the pictures inside (I loved the window seat in the room for cozy reading and watching their chickens!). Very relaxed and comfortable. I also appreciated little things like big, normal bottles of shampoo instead of little disposable ones. Camilla, one of the owners, made a cozy fire, freshly baked cookies with nuts from the property, and made us feel right at home. The hiking in the area is really amazing. Very challenging and stunning views. If you love a country get-away in a beautiful home with kind people and great nature around, I highly recommend this spot.

My family and I had a terrific time staying at the inn. If you'd like to visit the little piece of heaven where some of the best farmers market bounty comes from, then check out this cute little B&B. The rooms were beautifully set up, including little lofts that the kids could climb into to sleep. Camilla made us very comfortable inside and out. Exploring the area was an adventure. Camilla is a nature and science lover and pointed us to great trails we could do with the kids, showing us the trees and animals that we could in the local area. She also showed us a great hike up to an alpine spring that we could swim in. There was kayaking close by, which we would like to try the next time we come to stay. It would also be a great place to bike. The Capay valley is a great area to explore. The Cache Creek Inn is a great base to do it from. I highly recommend it!' author='

Tucked away in the Capay valley we were delighted to find found a beautiful a haven of hospitality with easy access to great rafting, hiking and biking. This superbly constructed wooden structure boasts rich wood finishes, craftsman furniture, and a delightful wrap-around porch overlooking spacious grounds. Our weekend was truly memorable due to the excellent quality in everything from the linen and furnishings, to the graciousness of the hosts. If you're looking for outstanding hospitality and comfort while surrounded by spectacular natural beauty, you can't do better than the Cache Creek Inn. We'll be going back for sure!
